Lord and Lady Capulet are married, and when he decides that Juliet will marry Paris, she doesn't have any say in her daughter's future.

Capulet is considerate of his daughter's feelings, which is uncommon in this time. In the beginning he agrees that she is too young too get married, and Paris must wait two years for her. When he senses something is not going according to his plan, he forces Juliet to marry Paris. When she refuses, he becomes furious, insults her and forces her to marry Paris. Capulet was trying to give her what she deserved, but didn't realize that he wasn't being attentive until she was dead.
Tybalt, nephew to Lord Capulet.
Tybalt spots Romeo, a Montague at the Capulet ball, he wants to start a fight. Lord Capulet is enjoying himself, and doesn't want be embarrassed in front of all of the people of the town, so he tells Tybalt to calm down and go away. Then he gets stabbed.
